4 The application to graduate.  Students who are unsure of their status should speak to an Academic Advisor, aadvising@ecuad.ca immediately. 
APRIL 9 DEADLINE: application to exhibit ONLINE FORM to be submitted by 4:00pm. No exceptions.
9 Industry Night Info Session (as a part of an evening with creative industry) for Design students with work installed in the show. 11:30am
Rennie Hall (B2160).
12 Convocation Ceremony Slide Show site opens. Check email for access instructions and technical requirements for submitting grad image.
13 Workshop: Hanging and Displaying work for the Degree Exhibition, in Room C4260 from 10am – 11am. Please use sign up sheet on the door to reserve your place.
13 Deadline: Computer, AV and iPad Request forms. Notification of results will be on April 6th.
15 Workshop: Plinth building, in Room C4260 from 11am – 12:30pm. Please use sign up sheet on the door to reserve your place.
16 Crit Night Info Session (as a part of an evening with creative industry) for Visual Arts students with work installed in the show. 11:30am in A2056.
17 Workshop: Hanging and Displaying work for the Degree Exhibition, in Room C4260 from 10am – 11am. Please use sign up sheet on the door to reserve your place.
24 Workshop: Plinth building, in Room C4260 from 4:30pm – 6pm. Please use sign up sheet on the door to reserve your place.
24 Dynamic Media: 2-shots for screening promotion due to technicians by 9am.
27 Deadline to return Information Release Form to reception.

7 Visual Art + Design students: deadline to register for An Evening with Creative Industry (see May 5). Space is limited.
10-13 Easter holiday, no classes
11 Convocation Ceremony tickets: remaining seats released online to students requiring additional tickets (max. 2 per person)
15 Grad Assigned location for drop-off of works sent via email. Email gradshow@ecuad.ca for more information.
18 Deadline: Convocation Ceremony Slide Show site closes. Last call for grad image
19 DEADLINE for SUBMISSION of LABELS (web app will be posted here April 1)
18 Deadline: reservations for Next Step meetings with the Shumka Centre are due. All exhibiting students are invited to book a meeting to map our the next steps of their career.
20 Deadline: Dynamic Media: Final Films due at 9am. Submission details sent out
20 Installation can begin for FMSA media art installations in consultation with FMSA Technicians and Faculty. ART students showing media installations must obtain their location and make an appointment  with Exhibitions Technicians to obtain a date and time to begin install with tech support.

23 Deadline: Artwork dropoff 9am – 12pm NO EXCEPTIONS // include: printouts of 2 color images of your work AND “Identification of Artwork + Installation Instructions for Art Exhibits” form. All students will be sent their dropoff location by email, and can consult Reception the day of.
23 The Library Reading Room: all students may submit their publications at the front desk until April 30. Fill out publication form on site when dropping off work.

27 INSTALLATION BEGINS for all students at 12pm noon for degree exhibition. Installation ends April 30.  Check the install info and Tech assistance white boards on each floor for details.
27-30 Emily Carr University Alumni Association’s Grad Help Desk (12 – 6pm). Stop by during install for healthy snacks, sage advice and your graduation tote bag.
29 Library Reading Room publications due.
30 INSTALLATION ENDS for all students at 4:30pm. All works must be installed by this time for awards consideration.
30 All printed labels posted and final inspection.
MAY
1 THE SHOW OPENING NIGHT – open to the public 5pm – 10pm.
2 CONVOCATION CEREMONY: UBC Chan Centre. Students check in at the Royal Bank Theatre entrance between 11:45 – 12:15. Ceremony begins at 1pm. UBC Chan Centre.
3 PREMIERE SCREENINGS:
2D-Experimental Animation, 
11am-12pm, reception in Reliance Atrium; Screening and Awards Ceremony, 12pm – 3pm
Film + Screen Arts, Screening Part I,
 4pm – 6:30pm; reception in Reliance Atrium, 6:30pm – 7pm
Film + Screen Arts, Screening Part II, 7pm – 10pm
4 FMSA Awards Ceremony and Reception, 7pm – 8:30pm, Reliance Theatre A1010
5 An Evening with Creative Industry – Registered Visual Art and Design students (see April 7) take part in this valuable opportunity to engage with local curators and industry, receive meaningful feedback about your work in The Show, and build your professional network.
6 Best Of 2D-Animation and Film-Media Arts Screening, 7pm – 9pm, open to the public, Reliance Theatre A1060. Free and open to all.

7 Donor Recognition Reception – student award recipients are encouraged to attend and meet donors who have funded awards.
11 First day summer term 1
17 ***THE SHOW CONCLUDES at 6pm ***
18 Holiday, Victoria Day, school closed
20-21 Students de-install exhibition. All artwork must be removed - and exhibit space restored to normal - from campus before May 25 or may be disposed of. Techs will patch and paint walls.
29 DEADLINE TO RESTORE UNIVERSITY SPACE.
