Graduation Eligibility

Requirements

In order to graduate the student must:

  • Successfully complete all of the requirements of their degree
  • Apply to graduate – email graduation@ecuad.ca for more information

  • Convocation Ceremony 

The annual convocation ceremony will take place virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual ceremony will be held on May 14, 2021 and will be broadcast at 2:00PM PST. Graduates are invited to watch online, and the ceremony will be publicly available to view anytime after the initial broadcast.

All graduating students who have completed their degree requirements will be honoured at the virtual ceremony. Degree parchments will be distributed following the Ceremony, more information on how you will receive your degree parchment will be emailed directly to you.

 

Valedictorians

One valedictorian will be selected to represent the undergraduate class (BFA, BDes and BMA) and one will be selected to represent the graduate class (MAA and MDes). Valedictorians will be selected by a committee of the Vice President, Academic and Provost.
